Trip to the Bronx Zoo

Weekend Getaway

Lia and I check into the SOHO Grand for our weekend getaway with Dad. 

The next morning Lia kicks back and enjoys breakfast in bed before heading back to Brooklyn to spend the day and night with Nonni.

Owen and Lia

We hung out with Owen and Becky today and "Friend" Fan (not pictured since he is the ceiling fan). Owen very sweetly was holding Lia's hand while they enjoyed the fan. 

First Trip to the Beach

Lia and I went down to Avalon Beach in New Jersey with Auntie Kyra. Lia got her first dip in the ocean, just a toe. More pictures here.

Just came from pediatrician and Lia is 13lbs and 6oz and 24". Dr. Gold says she is "perfect" but we knew that!

Catching Up

In order to catchup quickly with this blog I am going to post the first few months of Lia quickly and then hopefully we will manage to keep this up to date as much as possible with our comings and goings. 

here are some photos of what has been going on.

The cousins meet

Colin Joseph Caruso, Lia's first cousin, was born on June 27. Lia and Colin finally got a chance to meet each other in July! Too bad they couldn't stay awake for the excitement. 

Finally they wake up and we try to get them to interact.

First plane ride

Our first plane ride with Lia. She was of course a doll and slept or ate most of her way across country. Let's hope this means she will grow up to like travel as much as us.
